>I haven’t spent as much time at the plot this year as I really should have. I managed to maintain a degree of tidiness and even produce some crops but a lot of my time spent was either tidying, which I enjoy,or sitting contemplating or reading and listening. The thing is, once you get a garden to the point where you feel totally relaxed within it, the idea of doing anything demanding tends to be against nature.
It’s quite easy to sit, look out and feel so relaxed that you slip into a timeless contemplation and just when you decide what you are going to do, it’s time to leave.
